Classified by purpose
Groove shaped idler: used to carry branches, form a groove shaped cross-section to transport bulk materials (such as coal and ore), and prevent material leakage.
Parallel idler: supports the return branch and keeps the conveyor belt running smoothly.
Buffer roller: Installed at the receiving area, it absorbs the impact of falling materials through springs or rubber rings to protect the conveyor belt (such as coal washing plants and coking plants).
Self aligning roller: automatically adjusts deviation through friction or conical structure, suitable for scenarios such as ports and electricity.
Classified by material
Steel idler: High strength, suitable for heavy-duty scenarios (such as mines), but prone to corrosion and high noise.
Plastic rollers (such as nylon, polymer materials): corrosion-resistant, self-lubricating, low noise, with a lifespan 3-5 times that of metal rollers, widely used in industries such as chemical and food.
Ceramic roller: Excellent wear resistance, suitable for high wear conditions (such as cement plants).
